I visited the local machine shop to check the progress on the engine block boring process and heads reconditioning. The old pistons, bearings and rings are crap. The original camshaft bearing were hammered out as well. Next they will clean the block and do the final boring for 4.03". the crankshaft as been already bored by 0.01 " The head and block surfaces will be machined as well. Inspection of old piston examines crack in aluminum was visible so luckily it did not cause more damage. The old valves has been pulled out form the heads. As the sho tried to machine the vlaves first unsuccessfully decided to purchase the new ones. If everything goes well the engine block will be ready by end of November. I will do an engine assembly just after.

I have finished inspection of the brake, fuel and tranny oil lines. As seen all is gone and needs to be replaced. I measured the required lengths of each piece and size of the end fittings.

The main fuel lining has diameter of 3/8 " and length 345 cm
The secondary lining from top of the tank used for moving gasoline vapours to charcoal canister is 5/16".

I was curious to test the old radio in the car. I guess its not original AM/FM and is coming from some later Ford vehicles. It has four speaker.
After few testing of correct wiring and connecting the speakers it still seems to be working quite good.

We installed installed a new pipe stove for proper heting the entire workplace . I will require lot of food for this thing. My workshop is around 100 sqm area. Picture shows once I arrived with the stove one Friday evening.
