Finishing the stripdown...

The winters are quite cold here in Czech republic. Finally in April starts the spring with more sun and warm weather so the work on the car was more easier. Du to some of my business trips I do not have much time to work on it but anyway we progress a little.

The remaining parts was front suspension and steering components. We removed it at once. All control arms and bushings looks bad and I will replace them.
I let the front fenders and doors sandblasted and than sprayed with rust protective epoxy primer. Than I move it to autobody shop for repair the metal. Hopefully they can be saved. With a help of my brother I weld a moving trolley for the body shell. It will be frequently used during the transports .
Finished trolley stand. We put the body to the trolley with the help of three people.
Another view.. I started to prepare the shell for sandbalsting and start to clean the old stuff of sealers and asphalt paints underneath.
It was a messy job, I use the respirator at least. The body was prepared for the blasting process now. It took couple of hours to clean all that off.
I disassembled the rear end. I recognized that some brake components were missing on the right side.
